I left NC in my new Winnebago Revel to circle the country and see places missed in previous trips. Being a sucker for anything rail related, I couldn’t pass up this bridge over the New River in West Virginia.
I got all the way to the badlands of North Dakota before being inspired to take any photos.
My primary goal was to meet up with friends outside of Glacier National Park for camping, hiking and fun times.
Leaving Kalispell, Montana behind, My next goal was to explore the Columbia River Gorge. It was closed due to fires, rains, and mudslides when I was here last.
Finding a replica of Stonehenge was a surprise!
Seeing Mount Hood was also an unexpected surprise
Having not planned what to see and do along the way I was surprised to find an excursion train in Hood River, Oregon. I’ll link to the videos at the bottom for this train and other parts of my trip.

This is where the train stopped to turn around. You can see Mount Adams in the background and Mount Hood in the other direction.
