On day 5, we visit Saint Vaast la Hougue, a coastal town where we boarded a boat to visit the Island of Tatihou. Afterwards, we boarded two horse drawn carriages for a tour of the town.

Once we got to the island, we walked around to look at the gardens. It was raining so we cut the trip a bit short and returned to the boat and back to the mainland.

On the way back to the hotel, we visit the village of Sainte-Mère-Église. This Chapel was made famous for the paratrooper that was stranded on the steeple during the D-Day invasion.
