Leaving Cortez, Colorado, I moved to Caddis Flats, A Bureau of Land Management river access point and camping area near Telluride, Colorado where I stayed for 5 days while I spent some down time relaxing and enjoying day trips in to Telluride and surrounding areas. Driving in to Telluride, I was amazed by the jeep trail up the side of the mountain and eventually takes you in to Ouray. It was closed and still covered with snow so some day I will have to come back to explore this area.

Leaving Telluride, I moved on to Montrose, Colorado which I used as a base to explore Black Canyon of the Gunnison. The first set of photos is from the south rim drive.

This is my best shot from the North Rim, the light and the views were not as good so I didn’t take too many photos that I liked. This is called Kneeling Camel View Point.
