While I was in Cody, WY, I took a drive on the Beartooth Hwy. which is part of the northeast entrance to Yellowstone. It runs from Red Lodge in Montana to Yellowstone in Wyoming.
Leaving Red Lodge, Montana to return to Cody, Wyoming by a different route through Bearcreek, I passed the Smith Mine Disaster Historical Marker. It was because of this event that we have the safe mining practices we have today.
Next day, I took a day trip to see the Big Horn Canyon NRA in Montana. These photos are from the Devils Canyon Overlook.
On to Devils Tower in Wyoming!
