A trip to France – Day 3

On day 3 we visit the home of Claude Monet in Giverny. In the afternoon we visit Rouen and see the Rouen Cathedral painted over 30 times by Monet. This is also the town where Joan of Arc was burned at the stake. There were decorations up around town.

On day 4, we visit Fecamp, home of the Palace Benedictine Museum and distillery of the liqueur Benedictine. For the afternoon we travel to Étretat, a beach town famous for its arches and cliffs painted by Monet and others.
